It’s the first anniversary of the DP Blogs 30 Day Photo Challenge! In March, 2006, a group of us took and posted one picture every day. I learned a lot about my own photography and I’m excited to see if my photo style has evolved at all. Sure, I take pictures almost every day, but not that many that I would post on the internet every day! There inlies the challenge.

I begin tomorrow, March 1st with a picture a day. Want to join me?? This is a really ambitious challenge, but what better way to really get the camera back in your hands? If you’re a newcomer to photography, this is the perfect way to start. Here’s what you need to do if you’d like to play along:

Take a picture every day
Each day, upload your picture to Flickr
Tag your images with ” 30dayphoto “
If you like, please also include in your Flickr notes some information about the creation of your image. Let us all learn from your cool pictures.
